EASTER, CHOCOLATE EGGS: MAITRE CHOCOLATIER ANDREA SLITTI CREATES "FANTASY LINE" WITH AWARD-WINNING CHOCOLATE DECORATED ENTIRELY BY HAND

From Andrea Slitti's Chocolate Factory, a selection of chocolate eggs with different Easter-themed subjects 


Monsummano Terme (PT), March 2023 - Fine blends of milk and dark chocolate that serve as a canvas for the pastel-colored decorations of "Fantasy Line" chocolate eggs. This is the proposal for Easter 2023 by Maitre Chocolatier Andrea Slitti (www.slitti.it), among the most important and recognized artisan chocolatiers in the world. Slitti's Easter line, comes just a few weeks after being awarded at the Italy Food Awards for the category "Artisan Chocolatiers" and the two Tavolette d'Oro awarded at Taste 2023 in Florence.


The "Fantasy Line," handcrafted in the Chocolate Factory in Monsummano Terme, in the province of Pistoia, was created to enhance the selection of excellent raw materials, expressing all the mastery of Andrea Slitti in the composition of true works of art. The "Tartufovo", available in milk and dark variants, encloses a decoration composed of a base of "Tartufi," one of more than 40 variants of Slitti pralines and a colorful chocolate duckling; the Egg "Countryside" on the other hand, has a puffed rice base covered in milk chocolate, reminiscent of "Urchins," another variant of Slitti's praline selection. Also among the various decorations is the themed "Gruyere", more playful, depicting a mouse intent on eating a piece of cheese, also of course, made of white chocolate.


The Slitti company was founded as a coffee roastery in 1969, distinguishing itself from the beginning with its care and processing of the product. In 1989, the founder's sons, Andrea and Daniele, expanded the company's offerings to include cocoa processing. Today, Andrea Slitti is recognized as one of the world's leading artisanal chocolatiers: an expert selector of cocoa, he entrusts his palate to create his recipes, which have led him to win more than 180 awards for the quality of his chocolate.
