  • INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROTECTION AND USE OF PERSONAL DATA
    also pursuant to and for the purposes of Article 13, Legislative Decree No. 196 of June 30, 2003.

    The protection of personal data is a matter of trust, and the trust of Clients is very important to Slitti. For this reason, Slitti intends to respect the privacy and personal sphere of its Customers and to observe any applicable legal regulations regarding the processing of personal data. With this statement, Slitti intends to inform the Customer about the purposes and methods of processing the personal data collected and to request their consent in order to use them for certain purposes. These conditions govern purchases made on the website www.slittishop.it, in accordance with the provisions of Part III, Title III, Chapter I, of the Consumer Code, Legislative Decree no. 206/2005, as amended by Legislative Decree no. 21/2014 and Legislative Decree no. 70/2003 on electronic commerce.

    Taking vision of this information, the Customer will be informed of the purposes and methods of collection and processing of personal data communicated as part of the navigation on the website www.slittishop.it and at the time of placing a purchase order, by any means (e.g. electronic, telephone) such communication takes place. The Customer will be able to visit online stores and generally navigate within the website www.slittishop.it, without having to communicate personal data. While browsing the aforementioned site, at no time will it be possible to identify the Customer, who will remain anonymous, unless he/she decides to communicate his/her data and/or access his/her account by typing in a User name and password.

  • 1. COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

    1.1 Collection and Processing of Personal Data
    The specific purposes and methods of the processing to which Customers' personal data are addressed are listed below.

    a. Purchase Order: Slitti collects and processes the Customer's personal data for the collection and execution of purchase orders, for any post-purchase complaints and to provide the Customer with the available services. This data is necessary for processing purchase orders, including with business partners (e.g. logistics service providers, couriers, banks, etc.). It is advisable to enter a correct delivery address and telephone number to confer a purchase order and enable Slitti to give it prompt and correct execution. A telephone number is also necessary in order to allow Slitti to contact the Customer with any questions or requests for clarification and to allow Slitti's business partners to promptly and properly execute the Customer's purchase orders. The e-mail address is, finally, necessary for Slitti to be able to communicate to the Customer the confirmation of receipt of the purchase order and for other possible communications. The e-mail address is, finally, used at the time of identification of the Customer to enable him/her to access his/her account.

    b. Restricted Area - Customer Login: the Customer's personal data and those concerning his/her purchase orders are saved in Slitti's system, but will not be freely accessible for security reasons. Slitti grants each Customer access to a restricted area by means of a protected password. In this area, the Customer can view all data regarding executed and pending purchase orders and can also manage his personal data, any bank data and those related to the possible subscription to the newsletter service. The Client is obliged to treat the access data responsibly and in compliance with current regulations and not to disclose it to third parties. Slitti will not be responsible in any way for incorrect or improper use of the password by the Customer.

    c. Advertising: Slitti uses the Customer's data for promotional purposes, to send information about the items offered within the website www.slitti.it. The Customer's e-mail address will be used only within the limits prescribed by the applicable legislation or, where necessary, after the Customer has given express consent. The Customer will receive regular e-mail advice on purchases. It is possible to stop sending the above promotional messages free of charge by making a request by e-mail to shoponline@slitti.it or by calling 0572.640240.

    d. Market research and demoscopic surveys: the Client's personal data are also processed for the purpose of conducting market research and demoscopic surveys. The use of the same is done anonymously and exclusively for the purpose of compiling statistics for Slitti. At any time the Client has the right to object to the processing. The answers provided by the Client as part of such market research and demoscopic surveys are neither disclosed to third parties nor made public. The answers to the questions in our surveys are not stored together with the e-mail address.

    f. Website browsing and newsletters: when the Customer visits the website www.slitti.it, including by accessing it from a newsletter link, some data is collected and saved. The domain-name or IP address of the accessing computer is temporarily saved for security reasons and later deleted. Other data such as the date of access, the http response code and the website from which the redirection to the website www.slitti.it took place as well as the amount of data (bytes) that were transmitted may also be saved. Data analysis is done only in a strictly anonymous form. This process allows Slitti to adapt the information contained in the offers to the interests of the subscribers to the newsletter, which is sent in this manner: the Customer will receive the newsletter only if he/she gives consent to its sending and, in any case, he/she will be free to stop receiving the newsletter free of charge by making a request by e-mail to shoponline@slitti.it or by calling 0572.640240.

    1.2 Saving of personal data through cookies
    It is not necessary to accept the use of cookies while browsing the website www.slitti.it. However, the Customer is informed that the use of the "shopping cart" function and the placing of any orders is only possible with the activation of cookies. On the website www.slittishop.it cookies are used. Cookies are text files recorded on computer media that allow to record certain parameters and data communicated to the computer system of Slitti through the browser used by the Customer and allow an analysis of his habits in the use of a particular website. This storage allows Slitti to adapt its websites to the needs of the Customer and also facilitates their use. Many of the cookies used are automatically deleted from the hard drive of the customer's computer at the end of each browsing session (hence the name "session cookies"). Instead, there are cookies that remain on the hard disk. Their permanence is quite long (a few years) for reasons of greater convenience. Having made an initial visit to the site, the system will be able to recognize on each subsequent visit that the Customer has already been to that site, and the Customer's favorite requests and data will therefore be retrieved (long-lived cookies). These cookies will allow the Customer not to have to re-enter his or her password and fill out forms each time he or she logs in again. Browsers generally restrict the use of cookies, although they allow access to the offers on the www.slitti.it website more freely. Cookies can also be turned off. The www.slittishop.it website uses the "Google Analytics" service, a service of the company Google Inc. ("Google"). Google makes use of cookies. The information obtained through cookies about the Customer's habits in using the Internet sites (including IP address) is transferred to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored. Google complies with the data protection provisions of 'Safe Harbor Principles' and participates in the U.S. Department of Commerce's 'Safe Harbor' program. Google uses this information for the purpose of analyzing Customer's website usage habits, providing Slitti with reports on visits to the www.slittishop.it website, and for other communications related to the use of the same website as well as the internet more generally. Google will transmit this information to third parties where required by law or where third parties process this data on behalf of and for the account of Google. Google will under no circumstances connect the Customer's IP address with other Google data. The Customer may refuse the installation of cookies by selecting the corresponding parameters in the specific browser options. It should be noted, however, that in this way the Customer will not be able to take full advantage of some functions of the site. Through the use of this site, the Customer agrees to the processing of data collected by Google in the manner and for the purposes just described. The Customer consents to the registration of the user name and password in cookies after the closure of the browsing session and their activation at the time of the next visit. The Customer can revoke this permission at any time, with effect on the future, by selecting the specific parameters of the browser that allow to exclude the activation of cookies.

    1.3 Secure transfer of personal data
    The Customer's personal data are transferred in encrypted form. This applies to in placement of purchase orders. SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology is used for this purpose. Although absolute protection cannot be guaranteed Slitti Shop has taken security measures for its systems against loss, destruction, access, modification or dissemination of customer data by unauthorized third parties.

  • 2. EXPRESS CONSENT OF THE DATA SUBJECT

    By viewing this notice, the Customer gives his/her express consent to the processing and communication of his/her personal data for the purposes and in the manner described in Section 1 above. This consent is recorded in Slitti Shop's systems and may be revoked by the Customer at any time, with immediate effect.

  • 3. RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

    The Customer has the right to obtain information on the origin of the personal data, the purposes and methods by which they are processed and the logic applied in the case of processing carried out with the aid of electronic instruments, as well as the identification details of the owner and the person responsible for the processing of personal data, the representatives of the latter and the subjects or categories of subjects to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may become aware of them.
    The Client has the right to obtain: (a) the updating, rectification or, when he/she is interested, the integration of personal data; (b) the cancellation, transformation into anonymous form or blocking of data processed in violation of the law, including those that do not need to be kept in relation to the purposes for which the data were collected or subsequently processed; (c) certification that the operations referred to in letters (a) and (b) have been brought to the attention, also as regards their content, of those to whom the data have been communicated or disseminated, except where this proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate to the protected right.
    The Customer has the right to object, in whole or in part: (a) on legitimate grounds to the processing of personal data concerning him/her, even if pertinent to the purpose of collection; (b) to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for the purpose of sending advertising or direct sales material or for carrying out market research or commercial communication.
    As for the transmission and use of the Customer's personal data for the purpose of payment risk verification, only with the express consent of the Customer will Slitti Shop communicate information relating to: (i) the percentage risk values collected during the six months prior to the request or those saved for the first time; (ii) the type of data used to calculate the percentage risk values; (iii) the implementation and meaning of the percentage risk values for each particular case, processed in an understandable form.
