On the occasion of the award ceremony of the Tavolette d'Oro, the Oscar of chocolate (held within Taste) and one of the most authoritative awards to quality chocolate in Italy, conceived by the Compagnia del Cioccolato, the association that has been active for more than 25 years, with more than 1,000 members that aims with these awards to provide a comprehensive analysis of the chocolates on sale in Italy and guidance for its members and all consumers, Slitti has been honored with more than 13 awards: in fact, there are 2 Tavolette D'Oro 2023s won, 3 Twentieth Anniversary Awards and 8 mentions as Chocolates of Excellence.
For the Tavoletta d'Oro 2023 award, there were two products designed by Andrea Slitti that won: one - the "Calabacita figs stuffed with sambuca" - previewed, which won first place in the "Covered Fruit" category; the second - the "Turkish Coffee Slitti Praline" - won first place in the "Pralines" category instead.
The Florence Taste was also an opportunity to present the special "Twentieth Anniversary Awards," a recognition given in 2022 to the best winning chocolates over the past two decades in each category.Here, Slitti was honored in the "Dark Chocolate" category, where first place for the Twentieth Anniversary Award went to SLITTI Gran Cacao 73%, a blend of fine cocoa beans from Central America intended to satisfy the most discerning gourmet thanks to its balanced acidity, melting and aromaticity; in the "High % Milk" category, where the award went to SLITTI Lattenero 45%, with its perfect balance of cocoa, milk and sugar that makes it a unique product: finally, in the "Spreadable" category with the iconic Riccosa, the milk chocolate cream made sweet and fragrant by 51% Langhe Hazelnuts and selected cocoa.
